Polymer viscosity reducer XY-27

　　XY-27 is used as a viscosity reducer in drilling fluids.A certain proportion of cationic,anionic,and non anionic functional groups are introduced into its molecular chain.Due to the presence of cationic groups,the ability of XY-27 to inhibit the dispersion and expansion of shale is greatly improved,and it can also enhance the inhibitory properties of drilling fluid systems.Therefore,XY-27 not only significantly reduces the viscosity of drilling fluid,but also maintains its stability,demonstrating strong resistance to rock debris pollution.

　　Product application

　　XY-27 can be used in various freshwater,seawater,saturated saline low-density drilling fluids and high viscosity drilling fluid systems.The application of XY-27 in more than 5000 wells in 16 oil fields in China has shown that it can not only effectively reduce the viscosity of drilling fluid,but also improve the inhibitory properties of drilling fluid.When used in conjunction with FA367,the effect is better.For example,XY-27 was used in the Ansi well in Xinjiang.After the drilling fluid density was increased to 2.24,the drilling fluid had good fluidity,stability,and moderate viscosity.After the well slurry remained stationary for 24 hours,the density difference between the upper and lower parts was 0.01,and the well was successfully completed without any complex downhole accidents.In oil fields such as Sichuan and Changqing,when drilling through highly water sensitive shale sections,the dosage of XY-27 is increased from 0.1%to 0.4%.On the one hand,the drilling fluid mesh structure is dismantled to reduce viscosity,and on the other hand,XY-27 serves as an inhibitor,effectively inhibiting the dispersion of shale and drilling cuttings,controlling formation mud production,preventing shrinkage and bit mud pockets,and ensuring downhole safety.The use of XY-27 can significantly reduce the solid content in drilling fluid,significantly improve drilling fluid speed,and save drilling costs.The usual dosage is 0.1-0.3%.
