  Carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt(CMC)is an anionic polyelectrolyte prepared by reacting sodium chloroacetate with alkaline cellulose.It is divided into high viscosity(HV-CMC),low viscosity(LV-CMC),and alkaline medium viscosity.The appearance is white or grayish white powder,non-toxic,soluble in cold or hot water,and the aqueous solution is a viscous colloid.

  Performance

  Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(Na CMC or CMC)is a long-chain polymer compound composed of many glucose units,belonging to the anionic cellulose ether class.It appears as a white or slightly yellow flocculent fiber powder or white powder,odorless,and non-toxic;Easily soluble in cold or hot water,forming a transparent solution with a certain viscosity.The solution is neutral or slightly alkaline and insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol,ether,isopropanol,acetone,etc.It is soluble in ethanol or acetone solutions containing 60%water.

  Solid CMC is relatively stable to light and room temperature,and can be stored for a long time in a dry environment.

  CMC has hygroscopic properties,and its degree of hygroscopicity is related to atmospheric temperature and relative humidity.When it reaches equilibrium,it no longer absorbs moisture.

  Packaging and storage

  This product is packaged in"three in one"bags,lined with polyethylene film bags,with a net weight of 25kg per bag;

  Store in a cool,dry,and ventilated place;

  Avoid contact with eyes,skin,and clothing,otherwise rinse with plenty of water;

  Stay away from sources of fire.
